                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF VINE STREET BETWEEN DOUGLAS
                   STREET AND PALMETTO STREET ON VARIOUS DATES
                   MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN FOR THE
                   PURPOSE OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE UTC MARCHING
                   BAND PRIOR TO ALL HOME FOOTBALL GAMES UNDER
                   THE DIRECTION OF THE UTC ATHLETIC
                   DEPARTMENT.
                  
                  
                                                      
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of Vine Street between Douglas Street and
       Palmetto Street from 6:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, 
September
       15, 1990; from 6:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 29,
       1990; from 6:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 1990;
       from 6:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 1990; from
       6:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 1990; and from
       2:15 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 1990 for the
       assembly of the UTC Marching Band prior to all home football 
games
       under the direction of the UTC Athletic Department provided that
       the sponsor shall set out and pick up all flasher barricades and
       traffic signs in accordance with the traffic control plan 
attached
       hereto and shall provide at all times an access lane for fire and 

       other emergency vehicles.
